Because when your a wrestler you don’t make excuses. You don’t care how hard the task is or how much weight you have to cut, or how big the guy standing across from you is. Your job is to go out on the mat and go hard for 6 minutes thats all. For 6 minutes go literally insane go until you can’t anymore, go until every muscle in your body hurts and you can’t feel your arms or legs. Go until you get to a point were you hate yourself hate the coaches hate your opponent hate the sport, hate everything and still give more. Go until 100% then give 5 more. Because when your a wrestler you don’t make excuses, you make achievements. Because when your a wrestler Gold medals are made of blood sweat and tears.

she pinned the guy in 17 seconds then walked off the mat with a huge smile and gave me a hug
I was so proud of her. Then I told her to be prepared for tomorrow’s practice because she needs to learn to not be so timid.. and there’s only one way to teach someone that lesson..
Props to her :D I had a guy not wrestle me last night because he didn’t want to wrestle a girl. Even if they lose (or I lose for that matter), I always respect the guys who wrestle the girls.
